What the community is saying — both sides
sub-100ms to first frame turns video generation from a batch job into an interactive tool for gaming, live editing, previsualization and other human-in-the-loop experiences.
this performance currently depends on high-end GPUs and kernel tuning (RTX 6000 / Blackwell / Vera Rubin); most consumer cards (eg. 8GB VRAM) can’t run it easily.
streaming HD video at those speeds would demand significant bandwidth — many enterprise networks could “choke” if adoption scales.
removing the wait forces creators to rethink processes and feedback loops — iteration becomes immediate, not something you start and walk away from.
latency becomes a differentiator; creators and companies that iterate in milliseconds will gain outsized advantages.
speed alone won’t be sufficient unless the system supports critical production features like sound and reference handling.
people are asking about free trials, API pricing and the affordability of the hardware/service — adoption hinges on price and availability.
strong, emotional reactions—“wild,” “insane,” “fire”—show creators and builders are eagerly anticipating new real-time video possibilities.
, causing inconsistent faces that shift when the subject moves — a technical shortcut that breaks realism.
cheap 30-second pieces with bad animation and amateur camera tricks that only wow easily impressed viewers.
, trading authenticity for promotion.
juggling war news and AI updates — plus a political plea that leaders (specifically Donald Trump) should stop the war.

I was literally complaining one day ago waiting for video generations is like watching paint dry and then this happens 😂
I got LTX 2.3 to run 1080p in ~30 seconds on a RTX 6000 had to tune it for Blackwell kernels but this is insanely fast but will only be worth it if we can have sound and references
But we don't want or need more garbage videos.
Lol, they scanned multiple models as reference. You can see different face when it moves.
Ai slop wankers sure have easy brains to explode. My feed is full of cheap horrible 30s videos telling me that "my mind is blown away". But all I see is really bad animation, camera shots and spins that a highschooler in a film class would do.
